  • Running at 00004ad4 still results in runtime error 2.
I’ve tried unknown malware and also scanned with MSE and malware, but found nothing.
Even disabled msconfig and everything else, but that also disabled some Windows features including internet and email.
I don’t know how to selectively disable unknown applications during msconfig.
    We really appreciate any advice.
    Thank you.

  • What worked well before? If so, do you remember that you made any changes to the computer before my problem?
When exactly do you get this error message?

Restart your computer in safe mode and check if the underlying problem still appears. Follow the instructions on the link:

If safe mode works, restart the machine in a clean boot and check if the issue still occurs.

Follow step 7 on the website to “Restart your computer to continue as usual” after the initial boot troubleshooting is complete.

  • Hello Nephilim,
Thank you for your quick response. Q – answer your questions. This is
yes, everything worked fine until recently.
Be aware of specific modifications that maycan use this problem other than frequent normal browsing, e-mail downloads, etc.
The warning appears when the desktop closes when the computer starts.
    It’s called “Error” and says
Runtime error 2 at address 0004AD4 with OK buttons. Application (see below)
I followed the above and it stops almost all services except a few :

    RPC Endpoint Mapper
    Group Policy Client.
They cannot be undone, so they cannot be isolated.

P.S. Googling eventually came up with a post about the same problem saying that it seemed to be more common and only started on March 15th, which is about the same time as ours.

  • Okay, let’s practice solving this problem, first clearand our own operating system.

What internet security apps do you use? make me understand

But first run the update and therefore the scan. See if he sees and corrects everything.

Are Microsoft updates up to date? From there, navigate to updates and check for updates.

Keep updating until you get a message that there are no new updates.

Run the defragmenter. If not, or this indicates that it is not needed.

Let’s start with the fixes mentioned above and if the errors are fixed at runtime, we will also see that your computer performs better after most of the cleaning.

If you have any problems with any of these companies, please let me know.

Otherwise, we can clean up your system and fix your errors.

I propose to open a new topic in the “Am I infected?” section. What should I do?

Stop wasting time with computer errors.

  • I have Microsoft Security Essentials roaming and I’m indicating that the computer’s status is secure. See attachment.
Before starting, they thoroughly analyzed the MSE and then the malware. MSE hasn’t found anything remote yet. 2 malware infections detected.
I use ccleaner regularly and have run it at least 2 or 3 times since I first encountered this type of error.
Windows Update activation, results to be announced soon.
It looks like some kind of infection!

  • Yes, possibly integrated. If you want, it will help you ignore the malware forum and families don’t have many keys stored on your computer. Maybe I could just reformat… be done with it. But then again, if like me you never pass this place, good challenge. A question of principles. lol your call..Itemrop=”replyToUrl”>#Seven
