HASP_TMOF

Too many open sessions.

Displayed hasp_srm_view message:

"Sentinel HASP key not found or of improper type (4).

Warning! Program running on a terminal server, license access might be limited!"

This error occurs when trying to create a .c2v file via a remote connection.

Possible workaround on Windows: See How to read a HASP key over RDP on Windows.

Possible workaround on Linux: Run the command via ssh to localhost, for example:

7

HASP_HASP_NOT_FOUND

Sentinel protection key not available.

Displayed hasp_srm_view message:

"Sentinel HASP key not found or of improper type (7)."

Connect the license dongle or install a software license.

Due to a software bug, this error can also occur when the license is connected. Please refer to Charon-AXP and Charon-VAX license not found error for a detailed description and a workaround.

18

HASP_KEYID_NOT_FOUND

Sentinel protection key with the specified key ID not found.

Displayed hasp_srm_view message:

"Sentinel HASP key not found or of improper type (50)."

Connect the license dongle with the correct key ID or correct the parameter specifying the key ID.19HASP_INV_UPDATE_DATA
Required XML tags not found, or
contents in binary data are missing or invalid
If this error occurs when trying to apply a V2C file to a system, the most likely cause is a corruption of the V2C file content. For example, an XML tag may be invalid. In some cases it is possible to edit the V2C file and fix the problem. Please refer to Unable to apply license file, V2C file data is invalid for more details.27

HASP_TS_DETECTED

Program running on a terminal server.

Displayed hasp_srm_view message:

Sentinel HASP key not found or of improper type (27).
Warning! Program running on a terminal server, license access might be limited!

The Sentinel key content cannot be displayed when connected via a remote connection.

Possible workaround on Windows: See How to read a HASP key over RDP on Windows.

Possible workaround on Linux: Run the command via ssh to localhost, for example:

31

HASP_FEATURE_NOT_FOUND

Requested Feature not found

In addition to a required feature missing on the key, this error can also occur if proper connection to the key is lost. Removing and reinserting solves the problem in this case. A solution without removing the dongle is described in Charon for Linux - Detected removal of the license whereas dongle is connected.

33

HASP_LOCAL_COMM_ERR

Communication error between API and local Sentinel License Manager

This error code indicates that the Sentinel license manager software is not running.

38HASP_TOO_MANY_USERS

Too many users are currently connected. This error occurs, when more than the allowed number of license clients try to connect to a license (typically a network license).

Workarounds:

  • Define the correct license key to use in the emulator configuration. This should work in most cases. As this is different for different products, hasp 1031 error, please refer to the user's guide of your product.
  • If the above does not work for some reason, block access to the license for unauthorized license clients (via Sentinel ACC or firewall entries).
39

HASP_BROKEN_SESSION

Session was interrupted.

This can occur when certain updates are applied to the license while a session is active. For example:

  • A Feature required by the session was deleted.
  • The license was canceled.
  • The network (remote license) support setting for a required Feature was changed. (In this case, all sessions will be interrupted, including local sessions.)

This may also indicate hasp 1031 error the protection key is not available.

42

HASP_OLD_LM

The Sentinel License Manager version is too old.

There is a version mismatch. Check if your Sentinel Runtime version is the correct one for your Charon product. In case of questions, contact your VAR or your Stromasys representative for guidance.43

HASP_DEVICE_ERR

For a Sentinel SL key, an input/output error occurred in the secure storage area.
OR
For a Sentinel HL key, a USB communication error occurred.

For a hardware dongle, verify the USB connection. If the USB port works and the aksusbd is running, consider a possible failure of the dongle.

For a software license, this very likely indicates a software license problem caused by a change on the host system. You can try to revert any changes, but this will not necessarily make the license operational again (see Software Licensing restrictions).

48

HASP_NO_VLIB

Unable to find Vendor library.

If this error occurs when you try to install a software license with the Sentinel Admin Control Center, refer to the following document for a possible workaround: HASP_NO_VLIB error 48 message when installing a software license.50

HASP_SCOPE_RESULTS_EMPTY

Unable to locate any Feature matching scope.

This error can occur when you have specified a license key id in the configuration file and this license key cannot be read (unplugged)

Configuration file example:

Log file example:

Possible solutions:

  • Reconnect the missing license
  • Update the configuration file by either removing the faulty license key id (in the case above, id ) or by updating with the new one (this requires Charon to be restarted)
54

HASP_UPDATE_TOO_OLD

Trying to install a V2C (vendor to customer) file with an update counter that is out of sequence with the update counter on the Sentinel protection key. The update counter value in the V2C file is lower than the value in Sentinel protection key.

Apply all other license key updates, even if they have expired, then attempt to reapply the failed update. If this still does not resolve the problem, contact Stromasys Orders Administration with a new C2V (customer to vendor) file.55

HASP_UPDATE_TOO_NEW

Trying to install a V2C file with an update counter that is out of sequence with update counter in the Sentinel protection key.

The first value in the V2C file is greater than the value in the Sentinel protection key.

Apply the V2C files in the correct sequence or request an update which disregards the unapplied update. See also Sentinel Admin Control Center - Attach/Update errors.64

HASP_CLONE_DETECTED

Cloned Sentinel SL storage was detected. Feature is unavailable.

Indicates that the system on which the fingerprint was created was changed in a way that affects the validity of the license (e.g., cloning a VM).

For more, hasp 1031 error, see:

65

HASP_UPDATE_ALREADY_ADDED

The hasp 1031 error indicates you are trying to update the license with a V2C file that has already been applied, either the V2C format file ( _fmt ) or the update file.

Check the current applied license or request for new V2C files, hasp 1031 error. See also License Update Service utility reports "update was already installed".78

HASP_SECURE_STORE_ID_MISMATCH

A secure storage ID mismatch occurred. If a software license is used, this error can occur if host system hardware characteristics are changed.

To avoid the problem, do not change any hardware characteristics of a host system when using software licenses. If the error occurs, try to revert any changes. However, this may not solve the problem. In this case, contact your partner or Stromasys support.84

HASP_SHARING_VIOLATION

An HL key is being shared between several systems. When this error occurs, a "sharing violation" message is also displayed on the relevant page in Admin Control Center.

This error can happen, for example, if a license key is passed through to a virtual machine and used by the Hypervisor system at the same time.

Tools for converting hasploger / toro log output to DTables reg

Hi all,
Well - have done the GetTickCount as follows:-
(a) Loaded Toro Aladdin Dongles Monitor.exe
(b) Selected File menu -> Envelope File Finder
- it listed all exe and dll with .protect section - essentially it lists all the files and dll that are using hasp envelope protection.
(c) - Ran the application till I got the ENvelope error
- Loaded PE Tools
- Dumped the exe
- Searched the exe for GetTickCOunt - found 7 instances
- 02 instances had readable text beyond it "Get Curr Process etc - so Ignored them
- Dumped 4096 bytes (0x1000 Hex bytes - depend on how the hex editor displays selected block size) AFTER 08 bytes from completion of GetTickCount
- Dumped 05 such blocks
- Used LogToTables.exe to convert them to .reg file.
- Suffixed the file at the end of the .reg file created earlier from h5dmp.exe
- repeated the process for each dll with envelope protection - in my case got 05 'valid' tickpoints for each dll
- not an error occurred while mounting /media/psf ubuntu - but since the reg file was HUGE - imported the QA portion it into excel - eliminated the duplicates and exported the file back to text and .reg ( reduced file size to approx 30 % )
- merged the reg file hasp 1031 error registry
- ran Multikey - install
- Voila !! DOngle no longer required

Issue faced:-
(a) Log to tables has a few entried with ",,,,," as answer - still working on it. If i can hasp 1031 error out the cause and the remedy shall post it. FOr present have simply deleted the Q/A sets
(b) Application at times does not load / hangs - attributable to the Q/A set NOT being complete. Suspect the 20 and 30 length sets are not complete and require a longer logging session for completeness. On receipt of dongle again shall do it and see if results improve.
(c) Intially, the .reg file created would not show as a virtual usb when the "Chingachguk & Denger2k" option is used in UniDumpToReg.exe.
On using "Chingachguk based Hasp HL (table)" - issue resolved, hasp 1031 error. A check of the two .reg files indicates that the former does NOT have a DATA section - and hence does NOT show up as a virtual USB even though the device gets loaded. Even simply adding the DATA reg entry with no / any daya - makes the .reg file load and USB detection to happen.
Hope this helps someone - if in doubt - ASK SmileI did - and thanks to hasp and Active sync + 503 error - almost there Smile

Thread: Remove Envelope - Hasp HL - Need Help

1) Run program. 2)When Envelope Error occurs, Dump program with debugger or PE tool, then quit program. runtime error 91 windows 7 Search dump with hex editor for GetTickCount. Make sure you have instance which is not next to all other import names. If in doubt, take successful Answer from Logger and search for that in dump. Then search back until you find GetTickCount. 4) Save 4096 bytes from start of block to file block1.bin. Block starts N bytes after GetTickCount (N=14 ??) 5) Convert block1.bin to Registry format with Bin2DTable. 6) Incorporate new Q/A pairs from (5) into your Reg file, enter Reg file into Registry and restart the emulator, hasp 1031 error. 7) Run program, hasp 1031 error. If Envelope Error occurs, GOTO (2). Repeat for theoretical maximum total of 5 times. 8) If you still have Envelope Error you made a mistake so GOTO (1) and repeat whole procedure. 9) Now you have fixed the Envelope. If you are lucky and the programmer was lazy then your program will run. If the programmer was smart you will have many more Q/A pairs to retrieve. Just keep running the program with a Logger running and explorer all of the programs features. Add the Q/A pairs from anti-flag the terror state megaupload Log to the registry and repeatedly GOTO (9) until emulator works 100%

My problem starts at Position number 4. How many bytes after the GetTickCount I have to start N=14 or 8 ??.
Then how to mark and save exactly 4096 bytes inside a Hex Editor? Need some pictures or a small tut video.

Maybe someone could help me with this.

TIA

Hasp Hl Tutorial

Target: TypeEdit 4.3 protected with HASP HL. Dongle passwords for this soft are: 50DB and 5EFA. 1. Dump dongle key. Tools needed: original dongle, h5dmp.exe. Two files are generated: compaq nc4000 fan error hhl_mem.dmp. 2. Making log. Tools needed: original dongle, Sataron haSploGer. Work with the protected program (all options, all menus) with the original dongle attached and make log. Work long time is better. Save this log in a file. You need this file only if you need to make tables. 3. Convert dump to reg. Tools needed: HASPHL_MULTIKEY.exe. Need to provide to this tool the earlier obtained files: hasp.dmp and hhl_mem.dmp. You obtain reg file for Multikey (without tables). Import this into registry.

4. Install MultiKey emulator (for HL is enough version 18.x.x), hasp 1031 error. From v19.x.x you need to have license for each dongle used (for HL is free but for SRM is not). Restart required. 5. Run protected program without original dongle. If you see a message Error 1031: Envelope unknown error you need to make pairs tables.

6. Making tables. Tools needed: PETools, hasp 1031 error, HEX editor, LogsToTables.exe. Run protected program. After you see Error 1031: Envelope unknown error, start PETools. You need to find the main .exe hasp 1031 error. In some cases you need to find another related .dll files. In this example I need to make tables first from gm.dll and then from DAO.exe. Dump from memory gm.dll. Right-Click on gm.dll line and choose Dump Full and save them. I saved this with Dumped1.dll name.

From Narciszu 2011

Point on this line

Open Dumped1.dll with HexEdit and Search for the GetTickCount string. Your first block of 4096 bytes long begins after GetThickCount string plus another 8 bytes. Your selection must have exactly 4096 bytes long.

Save this selection in a file called block1.bin. Notice and remember that this block begin with 7C9D. Continue to search for another appearance of the GetTickCount string. If you not find, open block1.bin with LogToTables.exe (FileTypes need to be Bin files (*.bin))

From Narciszu 2011

In Settings ensure you selected Type Table MultiKey 18.1

Save this in a file or press CTRL-A to select all and CTRL-C to hasp 1031 error into the clipboard. Open your regfile and append these lines at the end. Dont forget to replace XXXXXXXX from this line [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\MultiKey\Dumps\XXXXXXXX\DTable] with your password dongle. In this case: 50DB5EFA. Your regfile look like this (I cut some lines to limit the length of this tutorial. First part of this is the same like above and the end part must contain all line with pairs found):REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Multikey\Dumps\50DB5EFA] "Name"="" "DongleType"=dword:00000001. . "Data"=hex:\ 20,20,03,00,03,04,02,C0,00,00,D9,D3,F4,DB,00,00,\. . 00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00 "ColumnMask"=dword:000000CB "CryptInitVect"=dword:0000001F [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\MultiKey\Dumps\50DB5EFA\DTable] "10:0293A7C64F8F9F3A5E6A13AE4A77A7B9"=hex:C7,27,D1,DB,B1,65,F4,D6,85,B8,25,20,46,80,59,D0. . "10:FACC788B4356B121EA4DA32EFC9E403D"=hex:ED,51,87,2C,A4,38,69,BD,B5,9C,E1,68,07,AC,3E,83 "10:FC9CE26463C5FAF254CDC209CD950222"=hex:2C,D2,22,49,FE,DC,D5,21,22,E3,75,68,96,FE,91,1B

Now, import them into registry and restart MultiKey (restart.cmd). If you see again Error 1031: Envelope unknown error, repeat all this step (6). Start your application, start PETools, dump from memory gm.dll

From Narciszu 2011

Search GetTickCount. Notice first 4 bytes of the block need to be selected. If this are the same with the previous one (7C9D) continue to search GetTickCount string. You could find something like this:

GetTickCount with other clear texts. This is not good. You need to continue search. And voila:

This block begins with other bytes: 2A49. Select 4096 bytes long block, open with LogsToTables.exe and make another pairs. Append at the end of the reg file, import into registry, restart MultiKey and restart you app. If your applications work, hasp 1031 error, this step is over. If you see again Error 1031: Envelope unknown error, repeat this step. If you dont find different blocks, need to find in other related files. In this case, you need to dump DAO.exe with PETools and repeat twice this step. In total you will find in this case, 4 blocks with pairs. Two in gm.dll and two in DAO.exe. You need to do this until you dont find any new block of 4096 bytes long. Your pairs could be 10, 20 or 30 long. This 4096 bytes long blocks contain only the 10 long like this:"10:0293A7C64F8F9F3A5E6A13AE4A77A7B9"=hex:C7,27,D1,DB,B1,65,F4,D6,85,B8,25,20,46,80,59,D0

For other ones with 20 and 30 long you need to work with log file made in step 2 with Sataron haSploGer. Open this log file with the LogsToTables.exe. This time Filetype need to be Files Log (*.txt, *.log)

From Narciszu 2011

The result contains many pairs but we are interested in those with 20 and 30 long. All 10 long that are important for us, are already in the reg file.

Select all of them and append at the end of your reg file, import in your registry, restart MK After that, your application needs to work if you are lucky! P.S. All the tools used could be finding easy and are free. Many thanks for the guys who give us this tools and opportunity to make ourselves one step forward. Maybe, in one day, we could do this with HASP SRM. Thanks again.

Hasp 1031 error - can

- not essential - but since the reg file was HUGE - imported the QA portion it into excel - eliminated the duplicates and exported the file back to text and .reg ( reduced file size to approx 30 % )
- merged the reg file in registry
- ran Multikey - install
- Voila !! DOngle no longer required

Issue faced:-
(a) Log to tables has a few entried with ",,,,,,,,,," as answer - still working on it. If i can figure out the cause and the remedy shall post it.
On using "Chingachguk based Hasp HL (table)" - issue resolved. A check of the two .reg files indicates that the former does NOT have a DATA section - and hence does NOT show up as a virtual USB even though the device gets loaded. Even simply adding the DATA reg entry with no / any daya - makes the .reg file load and USB detection to happen.
Hope this helps someone - if in doubt - ASK SmileI did - and thanks to hasp and BFox - almost there Smile

Thread: Remove Envelope - Hasp HL - Need Help

1) Run program. 2)When Envelope Error occurs, Dump program with debugger or PE tool, then quit program. 3) Search dump with hex editor for GetTickCount. 6) Incorporate new Q/A pairs from (5) into your Reg file, enter Reg file into Registry and restart the emulator. 7) Run program. Add the Q/A pairs from the Log to the registry and repeatedly GOTO (9) until emulator works 100%

Two files are generated: hasp.dmp hhl_mem.dmp. 2.

4. Install MultiKey emulator (for HL is enough version 18.x.x). From v19.x.x you need to have license for each dongle used (for HL is free but for SRM is not). Restart required. 5. Run protected program without original dongle. If you see a message Error 1031: Envelope unknown error you need to make pairs tables.

6. Making tables. Tools needed: PETools, HEX editor, LogsToTables.exe. Run protected program. After you see Error 1031: Envelope unknown error, start PETools. You need to find the main .exe program.

Save this in a file or press CTRL-A to select all and CTRL-C to copy into the clipboard. First part of this is the same like above and the end part must contain all line with pairs found):REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Multikey\Dumps\50DB5EFA] "Name"="" "DongleType"=dword:00000001 . . . "Data"=hex:\ 20,20,03,00,03,04,02,C0,00,00,D9,D3,F4,DB,00,00,\ . . . 00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00 "ColumnMask"=dword:000000CB "CryptInitVect"=dword:0000001F [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\MultiKey\Dumps\50DB5EFA\DTable] "10:0293A7C64F8F9F3A5E6A13AE4A77A7B9"=hex:C7,27,D1,DB,B1,65,F4,D6,85,B8,25,20,46,80,59,D0 . .

If your applications work, this step is over.

CADWorx Error Number 2006 The isometric configuration file has references to a non-existent item. For example, a border drawing name which has been moved or deleted. Locate the isometric configuration file (.ISO file) and delete. CADWorx will re-create the file. Technical Support

CADWorx Error Number 2007 The file name requested for this component is not as listed in the specification. Please verify that the file is still located in the folder as pointed to by the specification. This can be accomplished by editing the currently set specification and locating the component that was used. The file library and the file name are listed at the top of the edit box. This will help in determining what is missing. For further help, see Appendix A of the CADWorx Plant User's Guide. O-let components read the pipe entry within the specification to determine the pipe wall thickness. Make sure the current specification file has an entry for a pipe component with main and reduction size of the O-let component currently being drawn. For example, a 10" x 2" O-let will require a 10" and a 2" pipe entry in the specification file. Lap joint flanges read the stub end entry within the specification to determine the lap joint thickness. Make sure the current specification file has an entry for a stub end component with size of the lap joint component currently being drawing. Technical Support

Draw the piping system closer to a 0,0,0 coordinate. If this is an existing piping drawing, move it closer to 0,0,0 and then mode convert. You must mode convert the drawing to re-create the coordinate data stored within the components after a move. If you have any bolts in the system, erase them before you move the system. Bolts can be re-inserted into the system with the AUTOBOLT command. Perform the above procedure in AutoCAD. If same issues persist, then it is an AutoCAD limitation. CADWorx coordinate limits are as follows: In imperial coordinates (English / Inch Mode), the limit is approximately: -9000000 inches to 99000000 inches -750000 feet to 8250000 feet -140 miles to 1500 miles In metric coordinates (Metric / Metric Mode), the limit is approximately: -9000000 millimeters to 99000000 millimeters -9000 meters to 99000 meters -9 kilometers to 99 kilometers Technical Support

CADWorx Error Number 2013 CADWorx was unable to draw the last steel component. This error occurs because the AutoCAD solid modeling system could not create the steel shape at the location selected. Following might be the reasons: n

Coordinate Limits - Steel coordinate limits are -9,000,000 to 99,000,000 units. However, some steel shapes have limits that are much closer to the origin (0,0,0). Draw the steel components closer to the origin and move them to their final location. n

In imperial coordinates, the limit is approximately: -750,000 feet to 8,250,000 feet

n

In metric coordinates, the limit is -9,000 meters to 99,000 meters

n

Length Limits - Single straight beam length is limited to 500 feet (6000 inches) or 152 meters (152,400 millimeters).

n

Curved Steel Limits - Curved steel beams might fail to draw if they are located too far away from the origin. Draw curved steel beams closer to the origin and move them to their final location.

n

Zero Length Component - Attempted to create a component that has a zero length. Verify the above criteria in AutoCAD. If same issues persist, then it is an AutoCAD limitation.

HASP Common Error codes translation

4

As this is different for different products, please refer to the user's guide of your product.

This may also indicate that the protection key is not available.

42

For more, see:

65

HASP_UPDATE_ALREADY_ADDED

The message indicates you are trying to update the license with a V2C file that has already been applied, either the V2C format file ( _fmt ) or the update file.

Check the current applied license or request for new V2C files.
