I get this error when I try to run telepresence. I built OpenSSL just like it says in the guide:
tar -xvzf sprers.eu
./config shared --prefix=/usr/local --openssldir=/usr/local/openssl && make && make install
I installed telepresence and the rest of the dependencies. Error 508 as when I try to run it I get:
telepresence: error while loading shared libraries: sprers.eu cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
If i do locate sprers.eu, it'll find:
[My Path]/opensslc/sprers.eu
[My Path]/opensslc/sprers.eu
/usr/lib64/sprers.eu
/usr/lib64/sprers.eu
/usr/lib64/sprers.eu
/usr/local/lib64/sprers.eu
/usr/local/lib64/sprers.eu
What's the best way to link it to the correct version?

Normally, the build process should update the shared library cache, but try the following command to manually update the cache. This enables linux to find the changed error l1 muonline that you need to run.
Try running the following command:
sudo ldconfig

type the following command to verify that telepresence can actually find sprers.eu,
ldd telepresence
